When I stumbled across Kylie’s blog six months ago, I instantly became a fan.  Take a trip over to Effervescence, right now.  I’ll wait…..

…See what I mean?  Her blog is a safe haven for sensitive souls like me who feel called to changed the world. Her Facebook page is also a fun place to land where she calls her followers to evoke daily superpowers. She’s an empowerment coach and photographer who uses her HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) skills to find the best in those she works with and brings those juicy places to light.  I was so excited when she agreed to be interviewed for this series!  Thanks, Kylie!!

Kylie, what is your calling? My calling is recognizing people’s effervescence (my term for that ineffable magic we all contain), helping them to see it themselves, and helping them to share it with the world.

What’s possible for you when you remember that you are already enough? When I remember that I’m already enough, I can be comfortable in my own skin. I can be supremely loving — toward myself and others. I can rest, and give myself exactly what I need, because I don’t have to chase after accolades or try to be someone I’m not.

When you are steeped in self-compassion, what parts of yourself shine the brightest?
The part of me that listens so, so deeply. The part that’s present. The part that sees the big picture. The part of me that’s so good at extending compassion to others that I sometimes don’t recognize her.

How does your authentic self inspire others? This one I’m just starting to learn, and the answers are surprising me!

My authentic self inspires others to be at ease with themselves. She inspires others to be vulnerable and share their stories. She also inspires jaw-dropping bravery and fierce independence. I like that, a lot.
